Origin: Introduced species,widely planted in Panama for reforestation projects. Characteristics: Medium-density hardwood with light brown to golden hues. Easy to work with, offering a smooth finish. Moderate resistance to decay and pests. Production:- Commonly grown in degraded lands, especially in Chiriqui and Panama Oeste. Fast growth:
